Are you friendly, dependable, and eager to learn? Our busy, growing optometry practice in Magnolia is looking for a full-time Optometric Doctor’s Assistant to join our team! Experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and help with check-in and check-out
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Schedule appointments and keep patient records organized
- Verify insurance plans and coverage
- Assist the doctor during exams by prepping rooms, equipment, and instruments
- Perform preliminary eye testing and collect patient medical history
- Use electronic health records (EHR) for documentation
- Help patients choose glasses that fit their needs, lifestyle, and prescription
- Educate patients on their new glasses and assist with adjustments and minor repairs
- Teach patients how to safely insert, remove, and care for their contact lenses
- Assist with basic medical coding and billing
- Keep the office clean, organized, and stocked
- File paperwork and assist with other duties and special projects as needed
- Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines

Current Office Hours
- Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Closed Sundays & Mondays
