Lube Technician / State Inspector – Quick Check
Quick Check is looking for an experienced and reliable Lube Technician / State Inspector to join our team. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment while performing oil changes and Texas state inspections accurately and efficiently.
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for completing oil changes and conducting Texas state inspections while maintaining speed, accuracy, and professionalism. This role is critical to daily operations and requires strict attention to procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes quickly and correctly using proper oil and filters
- Conduct Texas state inspections following all required guidelines and steps
- Inspect vehicles for basic issues and report any concerns
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Accurately document services and inspection results
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Safely move vehicles in and out of service bays
Schedule:
- Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Texas State Inspector License (required)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume shop
- Experience with oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow exact procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a quick lube or automotive service shop
