Rainforest Lube & AutoCare is looking for a skilled and reliable Hood Technician / Lube Technician to join our growing team in Cypress. We are a fast-paced, customer-focused shop that takes pride in delivering high-quality automotive maintenance services with honesty and professionalism.
This role is ideal for an experienced technician who not only understands vehicle maintenance but can also confidently communicate with customers and recommend services that keep their vehicles running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and basic inspections
- Inspect vehicles under the hood and identify maintenance needs
- Educate customers on recommended services and preventative maintenance
- Accurately document services performed and recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Deliver excellent customer service while building trust and long-term relationships
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 5–6 years of hands-on automotive technician experience
- 5 years of automotive sales, service advisor, or customer-facing service experience
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, fluids, and preventative care is essential
- Customer service experience, comfortable recommending services, and proven ability to close sales while maintaining integrity
- Reliable and dependable
