Ensures regulatory compliance of all utility operations, completion of required reports, and laboratory testing as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Performs all phases of custodial, maintenance and repairs to other park facilities, equipment, grounds, and electrical and plumbing systems utilizing equipment such as hand tools, power tools, mowers, tractors, and other machinery. Responsible for purchasing supplies and materials. Responds to emergency calls for assistance. Will supervise the work of others and act as maintenance supervisor at the South Sulphur Unit in his/her absence. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned.
