Join a leading healthcare organization in Palm Beach County as a Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager for the Medical-Surgical Neuro Unit. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a proven clinical leader to oversee a 32–36 bed acute care unit specializing in neuro and complex medical patients. You’ll guide a team of dedicated nurses and clinical coordinators in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while advancing your own leadership career in a collaborative hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 oversight of the Med Surg Neuro Unit, ensuring quality and compliance with clinical standards.

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios.

• Mentor and coach nursing staff, fostering professional growth and engagement.

• Drive performance improvement initiatives for patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.

• Collaborate with physicians, clinical coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

• Maintain accountability for departmental budgets, policies, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Florida RN license or Compact Licensure (in good standing)

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or Diploma)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

• Minimum 2 years of charge nurse, clinical coordinator, or nurse manager experience in an acute care setting

Preferred:

• BSN or higher degree in Nursing

• Experience in Medical-Surgical or Neuroscience units

• Proven record in staff development, performance management, and patient safety

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $38.52 – $53.70/hour, commensurate with experience
