Compensation
• Less than 1 year: $27.42/hr
• 2–3 years: $29.89/hr
• 4–5 years: $31.12/hr
• 6–7 years: $32.36/hr
• 9–10 years: $33.59/hr
• 16 years: $36.95/hr
Shift Differentials:
• Nights: $3.25/hr
• Weekends: $2.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (Evening and Night Shifts)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
Position Overview
This is an opportunity to join a state-of-the-art acute care facility as a Respiratory Therapist, providing high-quality respiratory care to diverse patient populations. You will work alongside an experienced clinical team committed to excellence, innovation, and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and manage both routine and advanced respiratory care therapies
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment
• Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Assess patient responses, side effects, and medication dosages
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on care plans, therapies, and equipment
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (acute care preferred: ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care). Home care or long-term care considered
• Licensure: Active Florida Respiratory Care License
• Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – NBRC
BLS required upon hire
ACLS within 30 days
PALS within 30 days
NRP within 30 days
