Location: Tallahassee, FL
Hourly Rate: $27.72 – $39.60/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (case-by-case)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $3/hr
Weekends: $2/hr
Position Overview
Join a highly supportive and collaborative Oncology Medical-Surgical team committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. As an Oncology RN, you will play a key role in providing compassionate support and evidence-based clinical care to patients undergoing cancer treatment and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
Create and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and clinical best practices.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of providers, therapists, pharmacists, and support staff.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and medications.
Manage clinical situations independently using strong critical-thinking skills.
Requirements
Active Florida RN License
1 year of recent RN experience
Acute care preferred
Long-term acute care (LTAC) considered
BLS certification required
ACLS required within 6 months
BSN preferred
Work Environment
Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6
Shift Options:
Days: 7 AM – 7 PM (Rotating Weekends)
Nights: 7 PM – 7 AM (Rotating Weekends)
