Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range (Experience-Based):
$27.72/hr (0–5 years)
$33.00/hr (5 years)
$36.30/hr (10 years)
$39.60/hr (15 years)
Shift Differentials:
$3.00/hr Nights
$2.00/hr Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (case-by-case)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
Position Overview
A leading 288-bed hospital serving Leon and Gadsden Counties is seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Ortho Registered Nurse to join its collaborative and patient-centered care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and orthopedic surgical needs while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and collect critical patient data.
Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
Ensure appropriate resource utilization and adherence to care standards.
Qualifications
1 year of RN experience (acute care preferred; LTAC experience acceptable).
Active Florida RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
BLS required upon hire.
ACLS preferred (required within 6 months).
BSN preferred.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6
