Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Acute Care/Rehab
- Location: Fort Pierce, FL
- Schedule: Full-time | Days (Rotating Weekends)
- Salary Range: $32.62 – $48.93 per hour (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: Case by case, 2-year commitment required
Position Overview:
We are hiring a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care and rehab setting. This role involves direct patient assessments, treatment planning, therapy delivery, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support patients in regaining independence and function.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver skilled therapeutic care aligned with physician’s care plan
Provide patient and family education and support
Monitor progress and document treatment outcomes
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and caseload coordination
Adhere to professional standards and ethics of occupational therapy practice
Qualifications:
Active Florida Occupational Therapist license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Minimum of 1 year of OT experience in acute care, inpatient, or rehab setting (must be clearly stated on resume)
Willingness to attend mandatory onsite interview
