Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Behavioral Health & Detox
Location: Hunt, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights)
Base Pay Range: $36.00–$40.00/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials:
Weekday Nights: $2.25/hr
Weekend Days: $3.25/hr
Weekend Nights: $4.75/hr
Charge Nurse Differential: $5.00/hr when assigned
Overview
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join an inpatient behavioral health and detox program serving adult patients. This role focuses on assessment, medication administration, withdrawal monitoring, and patient safety within a structured, therapeutic environment. Nurses in this setting work closely with clinical providers and play an essential role in stabilization and early recovery.
Responsibilities
Perform admission assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
Monitor withdrawal symptoms and respond to clinical changes.
Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation.
Support patient safety through consistent monitoring and adherence to care protocols.
Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Required
Active Texas RN license.
Current CPR certification.
Preferred
Experience in behavioral health, detox, psychiatric, residential, or acute care nursing.
