Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent – Days/Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

• Base Pay: $30.76 – $41.50/hour (based on years of experience)

• Differentials: $4.75/hour nights | $3.00/hour weekends | $2.00/hour with national certification

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)

  • Paid 2% on first/second paycheck, balance in 6-month increments

• Relocation Assistance: Case by case

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Cardiac Telemetry RN to join a 50-bed Cardiac Medical Unit in Brooksville, FL. This team cares for a variety of patients, including those with chronic cardiac conditions such as CHF and Afib, as well as patients with renal failure and other comorbidities. Nurses manage a 6:1 ratio (with a goal to shift to 5:1), providing continuous monitoring, patient education, and expert interventions in a high-acuity setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac telemetry unit

• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

• Administer medications and document care with accuracy

• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, recovery, and long-term care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes

• 
  Current Florida RN license or multistate compact license (required)

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred

• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required

• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required (acute care strongly preferred; LTACH, home health, rehab considered)

• Previous cardiac care experience strongly preferred
