Location: Sanford, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Day or Night Shifts (Rotating Weekends)
Pay: $29.00–$42.13/hr (DOE)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
Shift Differentials: $4.50/hr nights | $1.50/hr weekends
Join a high-performing 27-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit specializing in both cardiac and neurological patient care. This team manages telemetry patients, post-CABG, MI, chest pain, arrhythmias, and other high-acuity diagnoses. The unit is known for strong teamwork, supportive leadership, and a focus on patient safety and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for cardiac and neuro telemetry patients
Interpret telemetry strips; identify arrhythmias and respond to emergent conditions
Monitor patient status and document assessments/interventions accurately
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
Minimum Qualifications
Current Florida RN license or Compact RN (must convert to FL within 90 days)
1 year of recent acute care RN experience
Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience required
BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
NIHSS certification within 30 days of hire
ASN or Nursing Diploma required (BSN preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in telemetry, stepdown, or med/surg telemetry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Long-term commitment (not a travel or contract role)
