Salary: $26.40 – $39.60/hr (based on experience)
Night Shift Differential: $4.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This role is ideal for nurses with strong critical-thinking skills who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to care for patients recovering from acute medical conditions and post-surgical interventions.

Available Shifts

• Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)

• Night Shift (Rotating Weekends; $4/hr differential)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients requiring intermediate-level nursing support

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Administer medications and manage complex treatment procedures

• Provide post-operative and post-acute nursing care

• Maintain strict compliance with safety, regulatory, and hospital protocols

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent PCU acute care experience (within the last year)

• Will consider:

  • Recent acute ER RN experience

  • 3 years acute Med-Surg RN experience

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

• Active Florida RN license or compact RN eligibility

• BLS required within 30 days of hire

• ACLS required within 60 days of hire
