- Salary: $96,137 - $153,816 per year (Based on Experience)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations in a 140 bed acute care facility. This leadership position provides strategic oversight, operational management, and clinical excellence to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 leadership for the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, Pre/Post-Op, PACU, and Endoscopy
- Oversee 4 ORs, 3 Endoscopy Rooms, and a strong orthopedic and general surgery program
- Develop and implement strategic plans for growth and efficiency
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and capital equipment requests
- Ensure regulatory compliance, quality, and safety within surgical services
- Foster physician relationships and team engagement
- Monitor case volume (7-26 cases per day) and manage on-call surgical services
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN required)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred
- 3 years of leadership experience in Surgical/OR management (REQUIRED)
- Active RN License in Virginia (or Compact/Multi-State License)
- CNOR (Certified Nursing Operating Room) preferred
- CSSM (Certified Surgical Services Manager) preferred
