Pay Range: $30.75–$46.15/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $3.50/hr
Weekends: $6.00/hr

Position Overview
A well-established regional medical center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide overnight leadership for a high-performing Labor & Delivery unit. This hybrid Charge/Assistant Nurse Manager role is ideal for an experienced L&D RN ready to take on greater responsibility and serve as the primary overnight resource for a committed care team.
Responsibilities
Provide charge-level leadership and oversee night shift nursing operations
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring mothers and newborns
Participate in service recovery and promote staff engagement
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient throughput
Oversee clinical workflows, assist with scheduling, and support inventory management
Perform deliveries and scrub in for OB surgical cases as needed
Support team performance, professional development, and policy compliance
Qualifications
Required
Active RN licensure (TN or compact state)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred
BLS within 30 days of hire
ACLS within 12 months of hire
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Prior leadership experience in L&D, NICU, Women’s Services, or Mother-Baby
Confidence performing deliveries and supporting OB OR cases overnight
Preferred
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Experience in a high-acuity or busy L&D environment
