Duties
Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation according to company standards.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and verify order accuracy.
Assist with order picking, packing, and staging items for delivery in accordance with order specifications.
Manage shipping & receiving processes by coordinating with carriers, scheduling pickups, and verifying shipment details through AS400 or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Maintain organized storage areas by stocking products properly on pallets or shelves while adhering to safety protocols.
Support warehouse distribution activities by participating in stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Skills
Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse distribution processes.
Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar ERP platforms.
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes including packaging for various shipping carriers.
