Duties
Set up, operate, and monitor various machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery like Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming systems.
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line operations to meet production targets.
Conduct quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards.
Requirements
Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a manufacturing facility.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls, PLC systems, CAM programming, CAD software like SolidWorks or similar tools.
Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments effectively.
Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and knowledge of factory safety procedures.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
Prior factory or manufacturing experience preferred; warehouse experience is a plus.
