Texas Dreams Gymnastics is seeking an experienced Boys Competitive Gymnastics Coach to join one of the top boys gymnastics programs in the country.
This is an opportunity for a serious coach who wants more than simply another coaching position. You will have the opportunity to work within an established, high-level competitive program, learn alongside experienced coaches, contribute to the development of talented athletes, and continue developing professionally as a coach.
We currently have approximately 20 hours per week of boys competitive team coaching available, with additional coaching hours available in our boys recreational program.
For the right person, this can be the beginning of a much larger opportunity at Texas Dreams.
The Opportunity
The primary responsibility of this position is coaching within our competitive boys program.
Depending upon experience and availability, responsibilities may include:
- Coaching competitive boys during scheduled team practices
- Teaching proper technique, progressions, conditioning, and fundamentals
- Developing athletes in accordance with the philosophy and standards of the Texas Dreams boys program
- Spotting skills safely and effectively
- Working collaboratively with our existing boys coaching staff
- Assisting with athlete development, evaluations, and competition preparation
- Attending competitions as appropriate for the assigned athletes and levels
- Communicating professionally with athletes, parents, coaches, and program leadership
- Coaching recreational boys classes when additional hours are desired
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who already understands competitive men's gymnastics and wants to continue developing as a professional coach.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience coaching boys/men's competitive gymnastics
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals, progressions, technique, and safe spotting
- An athlete-centered coaching philosophy
- The ability to motivate athletes while maintaining appropriate expectations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively as part of an established coaching team
- A genuine interest in continuing to learn and develop professionally
USA Gymnastics membership, SafeSport training, safety certification, and background screening are preferred or must be obtained as required for the position.

Schedule
The position currently includes approximately 20 hours per week of competitive boys team coaching.
Additional hours may be available through:
- Boys recreational gymnastics
- Camps and clinics
- Special programs and events
- Other coaching responsibilities based upon experience and program needs
Competitive team coaching will require afternoon/evening availability and some weekend availability for meets and other team activities.
Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation based upon coaching experience, competitive level experience, certifications, and the responsibilities assumed.
Additional hours and opportunities for advancement are available for the right candidate.
