What we want
As the Assistant Program Director for the Graduate Career Management Center, you'll play a crucial role in developing and growing relationships with key employers, collaborating with departments to create mutually beneficial connections between employers, career coaches, programs, and students. You'll assist in implementing the Employer Development strategy, ensuring positive and productive experiences for employers recruiting graduate students. Additionally, you'll manage and execute employer events, oversee on-campus information sessions and interviews, and support the posting systems to keep employer information accurate.

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 (Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience)

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, human resources, or education administration field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills and communications with ability to work with a wide range of constituents
Knowledge of and experience in corporate or business environments to provide credibility when recommending recruiting strategies with employer partners
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
Eight years of relevant, paid, full-time professional experience in business, industry, or academia
Five years of business or industry experience in development or marketing
Experience working across large, mid-size and small sized employers
Responsibilities
Employer Relationship Development:
Assists in developing and growing relationships with current and prospective key employers
Works in close collaboration with departments to facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between employers, career coaches, programs, and students
Assists Director with implementation of Employer Development strategy
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive and productive employer experiences when recruiting graduate students in Mays Business School
Employer Event Planning and Management:
Assist with the planning and execution of various treks, MEETS, employer development trips, and other employer facing and employer engagement events on and off campus
Manage and execute on campus information sessions and interviews
Talent Acquisition and Career Information Systems Management:
Collaborate with GCMC Program Manager to ensure the posting systems are updated with accurate employer information
Support student staff to effectively approve and update job posting system
Community Engagement and Outreach:
Increase participation and involvement through attendance in regional and national conferences and with key community stakeholders
Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
Assists in evaluating performance reports and analyzing program statistics for reporting, tracking progress, and adjusting programs
