Payroll Administrator (Contract to Hire) – West Orlando
Pay Rate: $33-$35/hour
Schedule: Fully onsite | Monday–Friday, standard business hours

This position requires someone with solid payroll experience, who can jump in quickly, stay organized, and ensure accuracy across all payroll activities. Experience with Paycom is highly preferred.

Payroll Administrator (Contract to Hire) – West Orlando

Tews Company is partnering with a trusted client in West Orlando that is urgently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team.
This position requires someone with solid payroll experience, who can jump in quickly, stay organized, and ensure accuracy across all payroll activities. Experience with Paycom is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for employees, including time tracking, garnishments, and deductions
- Experience in processing payroll in California, Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, Colorado, and Ohio is preferred.
- Manage bi-weekly contractor payments, including reviewing invoices and preparing reports
- Collect, verify, and prepare payroll data in Paycom
- Experience processing payroll
- Review payroll reports for errors and make necessary corrections
- Respond to employee and contractor payroll inquiries
- Ensure accurate and timely updates for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Maintain complete and accurate payroll records and reports
- Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide documentation and support during audits
- Recommend improvements to payroll processes and procedures
- Assist the HR team with special projects as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, with 1 year in payroll
- Familiarity with wage and hour laws and payroll compliance
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience using HRIS or payroll systems required; Paycom strongly preferred
- FPC or CPP certification is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, solve problems independently, and communicate effectively
