Clinical Assistant Job Summary
The Clinical Assistant functions as the focal communication source and as an integral part of the nursing care team under the supervision of Clinic Manager. The Clinical Assistant greets patients in a courteous and professional manner, escorts them to the appropriate exam room and meets patient/customer service standards. This role completes and documents all clinic lab tests per Provider’s order and clinic lab policy, triages, answers phone messages, and makes prescription calls for patients as directed by Provider.
