Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership & Revenue Strategy
- Own and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy across Field Education, Wildlife Expeditions, and other mission-aligned programs.
- Set annual and multi-year revenue goals in collaboration with senior leadership and program teams.
- Balance short-term revenue needs with long-term partnership cultivation and market development.
- Identify opportunities for new product offerings, new trip types, and expanded contract-based partnerships.
- Directly manage and support the Partner Development Specialist, Events and Meetings Coordinator, and Program Administrator.
- Set clear goals, performance expectations, and success metrics for each role.
- Coach team members on sales strategy, relationship management, CRM usage, and professional growth.
- Lead regular pipeline reviews, renewal planning meetings, and performance check-ins.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and mission-aligned team culture.
- Provide strategic oversight of new partnership cultivation and top-of-funnel outreach efforts.
- Guide high-level relationship strategy for key partners, major contracts, and complex or high-value opportunities.
- Ensure strong stewardship of existing partners through proactive renewal planning and relationship management.
- Support escalation and resolution of complex partner issues or negotiations as needed.
- Oversee wildlife expedition sales strategy, including custom tours creation and scheduling, and multi-day contract partners.
- Collaborate with program leadership to align expedition offerings with market demand and capacity.
- Ensure clear pricing, packaging, and sales-ready messaging for expedition products.
- Monitor performance of expedition pipelines and adjust strategy to drive growth and diversification.
- Serve as the organizational lead for sales operations.
- Ensure consistent use of sales stages, lead workflows, forecasting practices, and handoffs from sales to operations.
- Oversee CRM data integrity, reporting accuracy, and dashboard development.
- Produce regular revenue forecasts and pipeline reports for leadership and finance teams.
- Partner with Registration to improve tools, automation, and sales-to-operations alignment.
- Work closely with Program Directors, Marketing, Registration, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment across the partner lifecycle.
- Translate program updates, capacity changes, and pricing adjustments into actionable sales strategy.
- Support marketing efforts with market insights, partner feedback, and sales performance data.
- Represent the Teton Science Schools mission, values, and programs with integrity and professionalism.Uphold strong data practices and contribute to organization-wide CRM and reporting standards.
- Promote a culturally competent, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
- Participate in organizational meetings, planning efforts, and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.7 years of experience in sales, partnership development, or revenue leadership, preferably in education, nonprofit, travel, or mission-driven organizations.
- Proven experience managing sales teams and driving revenue growth across multiple product lines.
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate goals into executable plans.
- Deep experience with CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred), forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable leading complex sales cycles, contract-based partnerships, and custom offerings.
- Highly organized, analytical, and collaborative.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Position based at the Jackson Campus with occasional travel for partner meetings, conferences, and events.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and represent TSS professionally in a variety of settings.
