What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wholesale Program Associate position at Tesla Motors, Inc.?
What You'll Do
Review market indicator data, vehicle history, and vehicle condition to appraise the value and resale of trade-in vehicles in keeping with current Tesla valuation strategies
Accurately record vehicle sale status, dispatch, and track inventory using Tesla internal systems; develop and deliver data visualizations and performance reports to inform tactical business decisions
Represent Tesla and sell at weekly remote live auction sales events; travel to assigned auction partners as needed
Be the subject matter expert and have accountability in your assigned auction and inventory
Procure operational improvements and coordinate with management and B2B partners to push projects to completion
Develop and support strong relationships with cross-functional business partners including Sales, Delivery, Service, and Finance
Act as a point of contact and assist with any inquiries from our North American field teams regarding wholesale vehicle logistics
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Be a self-starter who possesses exceptional time management and critical thinking skills with great attention to detail
Proven ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment, as well as independently
Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing working environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand andconvey business issues,weekly performance reporting, and technical concepts
Highly efficient working across multiple computer systems;demonstrated skill in data analysis, visualization, and proposal building; experience with CRM andadvanced Excel required
Demonstrated knowledge of auto auction operations and processes.Automotive or vehicle service knowledge highly valued.Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus for serving international auction markets

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
