Collision Estimator / Repair Planner (Sales-Driven Role)

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Sales & Closing (Primary Focus)
- Greet customers and take full control of the sales process from the first interaction
- Perform detailed walk-arounds and position the shop as the clear choice
- Close repair opportunities and convert estimates into booked jobs
- Overcome objections and guide customers through insurance-related concerns
- Maximize each opportunity by identifying all necessary repairs and operations
File Ownership (Start to Finish)
- Manage each repair file from check-in through final delivery
- Write accurate, complete estimates using CCC ONE
- Handle supplements and insurance communication without delays
- Maintain momentum on every job to ensure efficient cycle times
Production & Execution
- Work directly with technicians to ensure repair accuracy and efficiency
- Keep jobs moving through the shop
- Maintain proper documentation for all repairs and procedures
Quality Control & Delivery
- Perform final QC inspections before delivery
- Ensure vehicles meet Terry’s Auto Body quality standards
- Deliver completed vehicles with confidence and professionalism
Scanning & Procedures
- Perform and document pre-scans and post-scans
- Ensure all calibrations and required procedures are completed properly
Customer Experience & Reputation
- Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the repair
- Actively drive survey completions and 5-star reviews
- Represent the brand with professionalism and confidence
DRP Performance & KPIs
- Maintain and improve DRP KPIs (cycle time, severity, touch time, etc.)
- Stay accountable to performance metrics and production goals
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a collision estimator or repair planner
- Strong sales ability — you know how to close and produce
- Confidence in customer interactions and objection handling
- Ability to manage multiple files without losing control of production
- Experience with CCC ONE
- Understanding of DRP requirements and KPI performance
- A results-driven mindset — you take ownership of your numbers
