Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Parts Department Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the automotive repair industry with experience in the parts department role.
Duties:
- Parts Ordering: Process order with vendors through a variety of parts ordering programs such as Parts Trader, OPS Trax, Collision Link, CCC1 etc
- Parts Monitoring: Track parts status daily and communicate with team about eta's
- Parts Receiving: Receive and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders. Inspect parts for damage upon delivery within two hours of delivery and assemble properly on the designated parts carts. Confirm parts with technicians or repair planner as needed.
- Returns: Return incorrect or damaged parts to the vendors. Track and post credits within 48hrs of return
- Sublets: Assist with transporting vehicles to and from sublet vendor locations
- Inventory: Monitor shop consumables, invoice for clips and materials on a per case basis for repair orders
- KPIs: Monitor and maintain parts GP margin, pending credits, shop inventory and process monthly reports for these categories
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the repair process
- Assist with general maintenance of the facility, cleanliness, organization, parking, etc.

- General computer knowledge
- Knowledge of CCC1 a plus
