Executive Account Manager

Position Summary: 

The Executive Account Manager is a high-impact leader who manages and develops a team of Account Managers while ensuring best-in-class execution across our customer portfolio. This role is less about owning a personal book of business day-to-day and more about coaching, developing, and holding a team accountable to drive service excellence, growth, and operational consistency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers, driving both performance and professional growth
• Provide ongoing coaching around relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling
• Establish clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability across the team
• Oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts through your team, ensuring strong relationship management and long-term growth
• Guide Account Managers inidentifyingand executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Support team members in building strategic account plans to maximize profitability
• Hold the team accountable for execution across shipment management, communication, and issue resolution
• Step in on escalations and partner cross-functionally to ensure service levels are consistently met
• Partner withother department managerstodeliver seamlesslogisticssolutions
• Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts when needed, reinforcing executive-level relationships
• Coach the team tooperateas trusted advisors, delivering customized, value-drivenlogisticssolutions

Education/Experience:

• BS Degree in Business, Logistics or related work experience required
• Understanding and knowledgeable of the Transportation and Logistics industry Understanding and knowledge of DOT regulations and standards
• 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation and/or distribution preferred
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
