Salary: $75K – $95K

Position Overview: As our Assistant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial stability and driving our continued success. Your responsibilities include managing a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, overseeing outsourced functions, and leading the accounting department to meet our goals.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: AIA progress billing, managing lien releases, oversee collections
- Accounts Payable: Work within a PO System of checks and balances with job costing; verify balances due against releases provided to expedite billing.
- Payroll entry and weekly processing for 100 employees
- Quarterly and Annual Payroll Reports - 940/941, SUTA, Fuel Rebate Filing, W-2’s, and 1099’s
- Weekly 401K Contribution Reporting
- Certified Payroll/Davis Bacon - Prevailing Wage Weekly Reporting and Compliance
- Job Costing/Fuel Usage Maintenance/Company Data Management.
- General Ledger Reviews and assists in financial statement preparation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years construction or general accounting experience preferred.
- Minimum 2-year degree required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems; advanced Excel skills.
- Strong 10-key and data entry experience.
- Experience in construction software a plus. Vista Viewpoint is IDEAL
- Professional communication.
