About the Role
This role as a Manufacturing Engineer is for an experienced professional who enjoys being hands-on in CNC programming, CAD, leading lean initiatives, providing quotes/estimates for the sales team and working directly with the customer.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and improving processes in a quality-driven manufacturing facility
- Leading Lean initiatives including root cause analysis, 5S and Kaizen events
- Identifying and procuring the equipment needed for production
- Supporting CNC programming and set-up when needed
- Working on the floor and in the office using SolidWorks, CNC coding, and Mastercam
- Developing and maintaining processes, SOPs, and related documentation
- Working closely with quality, production, and design for new product development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication)
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and CNC programming (G-code), Mastercam, and Haas (similar skills will be considered)
- Lean Manufacturing experience, excellent communication, and project management skills with both internal staff as well as external customers
- Desire to learn, grow, and design new products based on customers’ request
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
