We’re seeking an Inventory Control Manager responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and process discipline across a manufacturing facility. This role serves as a critical control point between Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring that physical inventory activity is accurately and consistently reflected in NetSuite. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical inventory professional with deep ERP knowledge, strong cross‑functional influence, and hands‑on experience managing inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead daily review and analysis of inventory transactions in NetSuite to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify, investigate, and resolve negative inventory balances and adverse adjustment trends
- Coordinate weekly and monthly cycle count execution, including variance analysis and reconciliation
- Research material movements to identify recurring root causes related to over‑ or under‑consumption, scrap, transaction timing, and scanning compliance
- Oversee Smart Count processes and inventory transactions, including lost or missing material
- Track, trend, and report inventory accuracy metrics to leadership
- Escalate recurring breakdowns in inventory and transaction discipline
- Actively manage aged and excess inventory, driving disposition actions to consume or scrap material
- Support month‑end inventory close, reconciliations, and audit readiness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and control
Candidate Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Solid understanding of BOM structures, production transactions, and cycle count programs
- Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication skills
