Senior Contract / Acquisition Support – TS/SCI CI Poly
Department: Government Customer – NRO
Location: Chantilly, VA
ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH CI POLY REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
Position Overview:
Support complex Government acquisition efforts by providing expert-level advisory and execution support. Lead acquisition strategy development, contract planning, and execution activities to ensure mission success, compliance, and effective use of resources.
Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level acquisition advisory support using expert knowledge of FAR, NAM, and source selection processes
- Serve as a trusted business advisor to Contracting Officer’s Technical Representatives (COTRs) and Government leadership on acquisition strategy and contract structuring
- Lead pre-award activities including acquisition planning, proposal evaluations, and cost/price analysis
- Guide negotiation strategies and source selection support
- Oversee post-award contract administration, execution, and compliance
- Identify and resolve complex contract performance issues
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, contract actions, and modifications
- Prepare and brief acquisition strategies, contract status, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Support audits, data calls, and continuous compliance reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or
- Doctorate with 8 years of relevant experience, or
- Equivalent education and experience supporting IC or DoD environments
