Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist with an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility to support our client full-time on site in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The specialist will be an integral part of our team, responsible for planning, supporting, and executing a communications plan, including the development of templates, briefing materials, notes, and other documents. This role will support the implementation and adoption of new technologies and digital mandates across our client’s workforce to help achieve mission-critical goals and initiatives.

Primary Job Duties And Responsibilities May Include
- Develop integrated communications solutions, including technical adoption strategies, technical narratives, change communications, and end-user products that help the workforce understand and adopt new technologies or capabilities.
- Design and produce visual aids (infographics, videos, interactive dashboards, slide decks, etc.) that explain IT systems, services, and initiatives into engaging, mission-focused narratives.
- Coordinate communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging from strategic to tactical levels across the organization.
- Facilitate workshops, briefings, webinars, and other multi-media approaches to plan key initiatives and promote understanding of their operational relevance.
- Support leadership briefings, town halls, off-site events, and other strategic collaboration activities.
- Create meaningful narratives for internal customers and external mission partners through coordination with engineers, software developers, data scientists, and technical and mission personnel.
- Ensure all materials are Section 508 compliant and suitable for dissemination across multiple platforms.
- Some travel within the National Capital Region and to CONUS and OCONUS destinations may be required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, communications, or related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in strategic communications in federal agencies or large organizations.
- Knowledge and understanding of DoD initiatives, mandates, directives, and publications (ZeroTrust, Artificial Intelligence, DevSecOps, software factories, etc.) to be able to facilitate strategic communications.
- Knowledge of executing highly technical communications plans.
- Experience developing communication to assist the rollout of new technologies to non-technical users, and technical stakeholder and leadership engagement to drive change, technical or otherwise.
- Expertise in writing, briefing, and other forms of communication in a highly sensitive environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools and programs, including Excel, Office 365/SharePoint, and Teams.
- Stellar facilitation, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and iterate products with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work with a team of professionals in a remote environment on expedited timelines.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments and creating structure where goals and paths are still emerging.
