Solutions Architect with Active Secret Clearance

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Solutions Architect with an active secret clearance to assist a federal client. Only candidates within a commutable distance to our Arlington office and the client location in Alexandria, VA will be considered, as some onsite work will be required. The solutions architect will lead in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions to support the mission objectives. We are looking for a highly technical individual who can design solutions as well as create visualizations using Power Platform and Microsoft 365 applications.

**Must be a U.S Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor a new clearance or upgrade a Public Trust Clearance**

Primary Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Enablement
• Design and implement enterprise data models, pipelines, and integrations to support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making.
• Build and maintain structured datasets that enable cross-functional teams to access and leverage data effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Power Platform Development
• Develop robust PowerApps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards tailored to business workflows and performance metrics.
• Create reusable components and connectors to streamline data access, automation, and visualization.
• Optimize user experience and performance across Power Platform solutions.
• Solutions Architecture & Integration
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable system designs.
• Lead integration of Microsoft and third-party tools into enterprise environments, ensuring interoperability and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver phased rollouts, adoption plans, and technical documentation.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• BS degree information technology, computer science, or a related field, and 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher required.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Excel.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
• Strong background in enterprise data modeling, ETL, and analytics.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and related ecosystem tools.
• Ability to understand and design technical solutions
• Working knowledge of existing systems and solutions within federal government departments and agencies.
• Ability to develop project plans and propose project goals, objectives, and tasks to achieve on-time delivery of customer products.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication skills—able to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  
  

This is a full-time position. This position is W-2 only; no C2C or 1099 candidates.
