Position Overview: As an Outpatient Therapist, you’ll work in a full-time, client-centered role within a highly supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll provide individual and group counseling to help clients find resilience and navigate the challenges of the recovery journey. In this role, you’ll create customized treatment plans and partner with Ten16’s team and community resources to offer holistic, impactful care. Your Responsibilities:
- Counseling & Support: Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions focused on healing substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders and associated trauma; developing lasting skills in recovery and resilience.
- Team Collaboration: At Ten16, we believe in the power of collaboration. You'll work closely with recovery coaches to draw on their invaluable lived experience, creating a comprehensive, empathetic support system for clients. This collaborative approach ensures that you're never alone in your work, and that you always have a team to support and guide you.
- Treatment Planning: Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans to meet each client’s unique journey and evolving needs.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain thorough, timely documentation and manage insurance authorizations within our electronic medical records system, a user-friendly platform designed to streamline patient care and record-keeping.
- Goal-Oriented Care: Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, helping clients set and reach their personal goals and sustain long-term change.
What You Bring:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Licensure in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, or equivalent) and/or CADC/CAADC credential.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use disorder/addiction treatment counseling (preferred).
- Commitment to an abstinence-oriented, recovery-centered approach.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, proficiency in technology (electronic medical records, Office365, etc.), and strong professional boundaries.
