Personal Assistant / Caregiver / Direct Care Worker
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individual at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and manage behavior of individual with a cognitive impairment.
- Support client in remaining at home and promoting their well-being.
- Assist with feeding and medication administration as necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with client.
- Ensure the privacy and dignity of client.
- Perform Range of Motion exercises to promote flexibility.
- Provide assistance in repositioning for healthy skin integrity.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in patient care, or related fields is preferred, but not required
- Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to individuals with varying needs.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
