Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Daily responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, educating pet owners, and collaborating closely with support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Clinical exposure includes wellness and preventive care, urgent care, diagnostics, anesthesia, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, cystotomies, pain management, cardiology consultations, ophthalmology cases, and a variety of advanced medical and surgical procedures. The role also involves clear communication with clients, maintaining high standards of patient care, and contributing positively to the hospital’s collaborative culture. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital provides a comprehensive range of services focused on delivering high-quality small animal medicine. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, urgent care, advanced care, pet surgery, dental surgery, anesthesia, cardiology, ophthalmology, pain management, domestic health certificates, OFA certification services, and preventive healthcare. Surgical procedures include spay and neuter surgeries, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, cystotomies, and dental surgery. The hospital utilizes modern anesthetic protocols and advanced monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety throughout surgical and dental procedures. Access to specialty consultation resources and ongoing professional development opportunities further supports the delivery of advanced medicine. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.
