Are you an experienced Insurance Defense Legal Assistant looking for an opportunity to work closely with a respected attorney in a fast-paced, professional legal environment? We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Senior Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support with case management, legal documentation, scheduling, and client communication.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting Medical Malpractice (Med Mal) and General Liability litigation matters who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys being a key contributor to a successful legal team.

What You'll Do:

• Manage attorney calendars, track case deadlines, and provide timely reminders
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, mediations, trials, and conference calls
• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, summonses, complaints, responses, and notices
• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, experts, and court personnel
• Enter attorney time accurately into the case management system
• Assist with trial preparation, document organization, and evidence management
• Handle subpoenas and medical records requests as needed
• Process client invoices by obtaining approvals and coordinating with accounting
• Provide high-level administrative and legal support to ensure smooth case progression

What We're Looking For:

✔ 3 years of Insurance Defense Legal Assistant experience required

✔ Experience supporting Medical Malpractice (Med Mal) and General Liability cases required

✔ Experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters from inception through trial

✔ Familiarity with court filings, scheduling, discovery, medical records, and litigation deadlines

✔ Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

✔ Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
