TempExperts is seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Legal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals on short-term assignments in Palm Harbor, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who can adapt quickly, work independently, and jump into assignments with as little as 24 hours’ notice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
- Manage case files, maintain calendars, and schedule appointments.
- Answer phones and professionally handle client and court communications.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing legal records.
Requirements/Education:
- Prior experience as a legal assistant or in a legal office setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments.
- Reliable transportation and availability for short-notice assignments.
