What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator/Executive Assistant (Entry Level) position at Telio Infrastructure?
About Telio
Telio operates three growing Las Vegas companies: Telio Infrastructure, which installs broadband networks in the field; Telio Onboard, which handles internet service sales and installations; and Telio Labs, which builds AI software. We move fast and need someone who keeps things from falling through the cracks.
The Role
This is an entry-level role working directly with the CEO. You'll run his schedule and keep hiring moving across all three companies. If you're organized, persistent, and want a front-row seat to how businesses are built, this is a strong first job out of college. There is a clear growth path into operations management.
What You'll Do
- Manage the CEO's calendar: schedule meetings, set priorities, and prepare the CEO for each day.
- Coordinate recruiting: post jobs, screen applicants, and schedule interviews.
- Confirm every interview by phone or text 24 hours before it starts and again 2 hours before, and follow up with no-shows the same day.
- Keep an up-to-date hiring tracker for field technicians, sales reps, and software roles.
- Coordinate new-hire paperwork, contractor agreements, ID badges, and first-day logistics.
- Send a short end-of-day summary covering what got done, what's pending, and what needs a decision.
- Support daily operations with vendor follow-ups, document organization, and weekly reports.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree (recent graduates welcome) or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational skills. You close loops without being reminded.
- Clear, professional communication in writing and on the phone.
- Comfort calling people who don't respond.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and spreadsheets.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Many of our field team members are Spanish-speaking.
Reliable transportation.
Nice to Have
- Internship or part-time experience in an office, recruiting, customer service, or operations role.
- Experience with event planning or another role that involved coordinating people.
- Interest in telecommunications, construction, startups, or technology.
Pay & Growth
- $19-$22 per hour to start, based on qualifications. Bilingual candidates may start at the higher end of the range.
- Performance and pay review after 90 days.
- Growth path toward an Operations Manager role.
