- Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles
- Experience supporting Government operations or high‑volume documentation environments
• Route messages, documents, packages, and mail to internal business units and external Government entities.
• Sort and open incoming and outgoing mail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Meter outgoing mail and maintain required postage tracking.
• Obtain receipts for delivered articles; log all received and delivered materials.
• Maintain and update mail logs and Government systems to ensure data integrity.
• Scan large, multi‑page documents and prepare them for digital workflows.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support seamless mailroom operations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
• Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
• Strong attention to detail in handling high volumes of mail and documentation.
• Ability to follow process‑driven tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Comfort using scanning equipment and logging information into Government systems.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Background Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
