Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager (West) - Security is a full-time, remote position responsible for driving growth in the western region of the United States. Daily tasks include developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and meeting sales targets. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, preparing sales reports, and representing Teledyne FLIR at industry events and client meetings to grow the brand within the security sector.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, and Account Management
- Strong knowledge of security solutions, surveillance technologies, and market trends within the industry
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and manage regional sales objectives
- Understanding of financial forecasting, planning, and reporting
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Ability to work independently and travel regionally as needed
- Knowledge of government and defense procurement processes is a plus
