What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Office Manager position at Telapsychiatry?
- The
ideal candidate will support the full scope of Office Manager
responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic
initiatives.
- Help with
recruiting clinicians and administrative staff into the practice.
Source active candidates from online databases, job postings,
contact lists, internal databases, and employee
referrals
- Help manage payroll for
employees/independent contractors Psychiatrists, Physician
Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Front Office Staff
- Proactively source passive candidates through
networking, cold calling, advertisements, job fairs, and internet
search/social media
- Help with overseeing
insurance credentialing
1) Team Meetings with Virtual Assistants to establish SOPs
and overview of work tasks and evaluate performance
2) Create Standard Operating Procedures (Completing Prior
Auth, Verification of Benefits, writing patient letters, performing
cognitive testing etc)
3) Processing payroll for clinicians and staff if needed
4) Assist with sending contracts and onboarding new clinicians
5) Helping monitor billing reports that are generated by
billing company
6) Help with processing virtual mail that is delivered to
the office.
Requirements
Master’s
Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management,
Health Care Administration or other related field from an accredited program

2 years' experience working as a medical office manager -
Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent
acquisition strategies

Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees

Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills

Attention to detail and good judgment

Effective verbal and written communication skills
·
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
·
Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS)such as,
Zoho People, Zoho Sign, Zoho Expense etc.

Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices,
including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and
employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in
compliance with employment regulations
·
Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration
and teamwork
·
Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning
