We are a small but growing outpatient mental health center serving Baltimore families with therapy, psychiatry, and community-based rehabilitation (PRP) services. Our mission is to provide compassionate, accessible care that empowers individuals and families on their healing journey.
We are seeking a highly organized, experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise administrative staff, and ensure our center runs smoothly and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision
- Directly supervise the admin assistant and receptionist, and step into these roles as needed.
- Support a team of 5β7 licensed providers and 7 PRP staff.
- Operations & Compliance
- Manage daily non-clinical operations, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Conduct facility safety inspections, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Billing & Insurance
- Perform insurance verification and submit billing for assigned providers.
- Assist with monitoring accounts receivable and denial management.
- Financial & Payroll Support
- Collect and send numbers for payroll.
- Assist with basic financial reports for leadership.
- Provide front desk coverage as receptionist or assist with administrative tasks when staff are absent.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience as an Office Manager (healthcare or behavioral health strongly preferred).
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and healthcare operations.
- Familiarity with behavioral health regulations (Medicaid, Medicare, HIPAA).
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Relevant certifications (medical office administration, billing/coding, or leadership training) are a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
