Tekton is seeking an On-Site Patient Recruitment Specialist to join our team in McKinney/Irving, TX.
This is a Full Time onsite position that will share time between our Mckinney Site (4201 Medical Center Drive, Suite 250, McKinney, TX 75069) & Irving Site (210 W John Carpenter Fwy, Suite 100 Irving TX 75039)
The On-Site Patient Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for working in collaboration with the site and the Recruitment Team to ensure clear understanding of Recruiting support needs and timeline. This position will be involved with all aspects of patient recruitment from assisting with the initiation of site-specific advertising, chart screening, through initial patient contact to scheduling for first visits or follow up visits. This position is embedded within a clinical trial site and will also be responsible for identification and conduct of community and physician outreach, serving as a voice to the site. It is important that this person is able to function as part of a team that is dispersed across the nation, while also building comradery with the research team at the site.

Job Description:
• Demonstrate knowledge of Protocols including inclusions/exclusions, effects and side effects of medications and Good Clinical Practices and FDA regulations.
• Support the design of special strategies to help drive study enrollment.
• Drive recruitment and retention through:
o Effective pre-screening of potential volunteers via telephone using prepared questionnaires to determine preliminary eligibility for study participation.
o Create and maintain study and indication specific call lists within Clinical Conductor
o Accurately maintain Clinical Conductor database with patient information and scheduled screening visits.
o Return all phone calls to interested patients within 24 to 48 hours.
• Serve as a voice to the site through community and physician outreach.
o Help to identify and attend opportunities within the community both for specific studies and general clinical research/Tekton Research awareness.
o Establish and maintain effective communication with providers. Facilitate conversations with local physicians to encourage referrals into recruiting studies.
o Track all outreach activities and responses within Clinical Conductor.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - must communicate with clinical operations manager, coordinators, and support staff regularly with status reports
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
• Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Education and Experience:
• 3 years of previous experience in a clinical research or medical office setting including call center or customer service that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
