Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Video Production Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands‑on support for video productions and live broadcasts. This role focuses on system reliability, live event execution, and video infrastructure supporting executive‑level communications.
Required Technical Experience
- 5–10 years in video production engineering, broadcast operations, or live event technical roles.
- Strong understanding of video signal flow, cameras, codecs, lighting, audio, and networking.
- Proven experience supporting live, multi‑camera events.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and production control systems.
- Ability to manage 200 ft cable runs.
- Strong judgment using fiber, SDI, HDMI, and CAT6.
- Experience setting up stand‑alone networks with 20 devices.
- Clear understanding of luma key vs. chroma key.
- Professional cameras and microphones
- Video switchers
- Audio interfaces
- Fiber systems
- RAID storage
- LTO tape drives
- Media asset management systems
- Based in Peoria, IL - not open to remote candidates.
- Regular travel required
- Occasional off‑hours support for live events
