Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient questions related to referrals, lab work, imaging, medications, and treatment plans
- Coordinate care with healthcare providers, facilities, pharmacies, and insurance partners to ensure timely delivery of services
- Schedule patient appointments and manage requests using appropriate systems and resources
- Communicate status updates to patients and partner facilities regarding labs, imaging, and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, including demographics and documented interactions
- Utilize critical thinking to resolve scheduling, authorization, or care coordination issues
- Monitor patient satisfaction and escalate concerns when appropriate
- Deliver professional, empathetic service in all written and verbal communications
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in customer service or a healthcare setting preferred
- 1 year of experience using EHR systems (athenaOne preferred)
- Solid understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Experience working remotely in a high‑volume phone environment preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail
- Patient‑focused mindset with a commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- 100% Remote
- Must reside and work in PST or MST time zones
- Pay Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
- Contract Length: 2 months
