Life Safety & Security Systems Manager

Description

• Direct enterprise-wide fire and intrusion alarm operations, ensuring system reliability, timely response, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted protection across all retail locations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with monitoring, installation, and maintenance vendors to enforce Service-Level Agreement performance, manage escalations, and lead resolution of critical and after-hours incidents.
• Oversee purchase order lifecycle management for alarm installations, service calls, equipment, and monitoring contracts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and fiscal control.
• Review, validate, and process vendor invoices for contractual compliance and budget alignment, partnering with Finance to ensure proper payment processing and expense allocation.
• Ensure all vendor-managed systems comply with NFPA standards, AHJ requirements, and applicable life safety regulations, maintaining continuous audit and inspection readiness.
• Coordinate alarm system installations and modifications for new store openings, remodels, and re-merchandising projects to support seamless operational transitions.
• Analyze alarm event data, false alarm trends, and vendor performance metrics to improve reliability, mitigate risk, reduce operational costs, and strengthen accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Asset Protection, IT, Facilities, Finance, and Sourcing on system integrations, technology upgrades, and process optimization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing strategies that enhance program efficiency, cost control, and overall system effectiveness.
• Research emerging life safety technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions that modernize alarm programs and strengthen long-term enterprise resilience.
