Description

The Site IT Administrator serves as the primary onsite IT resource at Molex’s Lisle, IL headquarters, supporting nearby manufacturing and warehouse facilities including Naperville, two Bolingbrook locations, Monee, Belvidere, and Chicago. This fully onsite role provides hands-on support for end users, executives, engineers, and shop-floor teams. The position focuses heavily on supporting OT-connected equipment such as Zebra RF scanners, Sato/HP/Konica Minolta label printers, and various shop-floor devices.

Ideal Candidates

Have IT support experience in manufacturing/warehouse environments

Are skilled at troubleshooting scanners, printers, and OT systems

Have strong Windows/device provisioning experience

Are proactive, communicative, and comfortable in customer-facing scenarios

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with VMware / vSphere

Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center

Exposure to SOTI and Loftware for printing

General awareness of SAP (not heavily used by this role)

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing onsite, customer-facing support for end users, including executives and board-level white-glove support during meetings and events.
• Troubleshooting and supporting OT-connected equipment used in manufacturing and warehouse operations, including Zebra RF scanners, Sato and other label printers, shop-floor devices, stretch-wrapping, counting and labeling equipment.
• Supporting and administering the print environment, including Konica Minolta devices and HP Cloud Print, as the organization migrates from Konica Minolta to HP. This includes onboarding new printers, removing legacy devices, and ensuring proper network and cloud print configuration across sites.
• Provisioning and onboarding new laptops and devices: adding devices to the CMDB and network, configuring Autopilot/Intune, installing required applications, and ensuring engineering users have the tools they need.
• Troubleshooting day-to-day incidents in ServiceNow, with a heavy focus on RF scanners, printers, and network-related issues impacting shop floor and warehouse operations.
• Collaborating with Facilities and other IT teams that manage collaboration systems (Microsoft Teams Rooms, IP phones, conference room technology)
• Working closely with a distributed team of IT administrators across the Americas (Wisconsin, Little Rock, Tampa Bay, California, etc.), participating in regular touchpoints to share issues, solutions, and best practices.

Comfortable owning issues from identification through resolution. They should be proactive, not afraid to ask questions, and willing to help support other sites beyond their own when tickets enter the queue.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lisle, IL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
