What are the responsibilities and job description for the Access Control Technician position at TEKsystems?
Description
This person will primarily install security-based systems, such as access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems. The role will consist of working alongside a lead technician or senior team members who perform full installations, including testing, repairs, and servicing a variety of systems and equipment, which may include various low-voltage systems. They are willing to train someone from the ground up if the individual is willing to put in the work. As the tech gains more experience, the tech will gain more exposure to more fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access control systems, with the opportunity to be converted into an FT employee. This person will primarily work in the OKC area, including Stillwater, for a major project.
