Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills and experience working on diesel-powered heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
- Repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
- Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately.
- Perform field service repairs when required.
- Follow company and OSHA safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Technician experience.
- Experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Diesel Engines
- Hydraulic Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Powertrain Components
- Pneumatic Systems
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical failures.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Own basic mechanic tools (preferred).
