Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our Tax Department in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

This position is primarily focused on individual and business tax preparation and is well suited for a tax professional with recent public accounting experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility while continuing to develop within a collaborative and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Handle a high volume of tax preparation during busy season
• Review client-provided financial and tax information for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare extensions, tax projections, and supporting workpapers
• Research and apply federal and state tax regulations
• Identify tax issues and communicate questions or potential solutions to management
• Work closely with Managers and Partners on tax engagements
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax information and documentation
• Meet established deadlines and maintain high standards for accuracy and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of recent public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA or EA preferred
• CPA candidate or active pursuit of CPA licensure is a plus
• Strong technical tax knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary of $75,000–$95,000
• Up to $100,000 for a CPA with multiple years of Tax Senior experience
